Job Title: M Class NSO Co-Ordinator Reports to: Develoment Operations Manager Hours of Work: Mon – Thurs 7.30am – 4.30pm, Fri – 7.30am – 12.30pm
By working closely with, and communicating answers from the ‘M’ Class Development team, provide comprehensive answers to all NSO requests that come through from sales for all ‘M’ Class boat lines.
Facilitate the complete procedure of producing the customer required requests.
To co-ordinate the NSO schedule
Main Purpose of Role
To work closely with the M Class development and sales team to co-ordinate effective solutions to specific requests from our customers (Non Standard Options). To co-ordinate answers to all request and co-ordinating the request to completion.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Liaising with joiners / engineers / Senior M Class designer to help overcome manufacturing issues and to develop new ideas
Key understanding of the Princess M Class Range
Extensive knowledge of NX - (Kitparts, Small Moulds, Metal shop)
Maintain the NSO CAD Designers schedule
Adhoc problem solving.
Communicate with existing and new suppliers helping to provide solutions to customer requests
Accountable for decisions to go ahead with established design proposals
Visualise product build and deal with production issues at shop floor level
Plan and coordinate all NSO’s from request through design and back to sales for customer submission.
Acting as an Ambassador for Princess Yachts, operating with integrity and drive appropriate to the Company’s values, to promote Princess as a market leader.

3D CAD – A good working knowledge of Unigraphics NX is essential
A good working knowledge of Chess, Stelent and Goldmine is desirable / training given
Excellent understanding of materials and basic properties of GRP/Timber/Steels & Alloys
Strong awareness of mechanisms and mechanical /electrical principles
Strong conceptual skills
Good attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to make decisions and commit to planned design
