Princess Yachts are currently recruiting for a Painter to work in Langage.

This is a rare opportunity to join a major regional company in a high profile and key position within the business.

 

Department: OSC 

Pay Method

Wages paid direct into UK bank account on a weekly basis. 

 

Overtime

The first 15 hours over your contracted hours will be paid at Premium 1 £21.21

Additional hours thereafter will be paid at Premium 2 £27.16

Sundays and Bank holidays are also paid at Premium 2

 

Hours of Work

Princess Yachts operate various shifts of which you will need to be flexible for either:

4 day - Monday to Thursday 7.00am – 5.00pm

3 day - Weekend Shift - Friday to Sunday.6.00am – 6.00pm

38 hours per week or 34.5 hours per week. Flexibility to move between the above shifts at 4 weeks’ notice is required.

Backshift / Late Shift / Early Shift / Weekend Late Shift – These are also potential shifts which are in place within the business where 2 weeks’ notice will be given. Shifts attract a premium rate.

 

Holiday Entitlement

8 Standard Bank Holiday days. Additional holiday allowance will vary depending on which shift you are allocated. All details will be stated in your contract.

 

Location of Work

You will work at one of six Princess Yachts' sites in and around Plymouth – Newport Street, South Yard, Coypool, Langage or Lee Mill. Successful applicants will be advised of their specific work site when employment is confirmed. You may be required to move between sites during your employment.

 

Employment Status

Princess Yachts will offer a permanent contract with a probation period of 11months, of which your performance and attendance will be monitored regularly via reviews with your manager

This Recruitment Privacy Statement sets out how we, Princess Yachts Limited whose registered office is at Newport Street, Plymouth, PL1 3QG (Company Number 00856633, Country of Origin: England and Wales) (“Princess”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”), intend to protect your privacy when applying for a role with us using our Recruitment site, and describes your rights and the manner in which any of your personal data will be collected and used.

What sort of data is collected?

We will also need to process your personal data to decide whether to enter into a contract with you. If we collect any health information about you, such as to make adjustments for you, we will request your consent at the time of collection.

If you are not successful in your application to us, your personal information will usually be retained for the period of the recruitment exercise and then after for 6 months. It is then destroyed unless its retention is required to satisfy audit, legal, regulatory or accounting requirements or to protect our interests. We will not sell, trade, rent or pass on your personal information to any organisation other than those involved in the recruitment, selection and employment process, or use this information ourselves for any purpose other than those stated here without your consent. If your application to us is successful, the information provided to us will be retained by us and transferred to your personnel file (for which you will receive a separate privacy policy setting out how this information is handled).
